The Land
Odiyan sits high up on a hill about 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean
amidst the redwoods
of Northern California. Over 125 acres of land have been cultivated
as orchards, gardens,
parks, and plazas. Hundreds of thousands of trees and plants have
been planted with
more being added regularly.
More than 1,000 traditional Tibetan prayer wheels
turn day and night, activating sacred
mantras. Hundreds of prayer flags, huge and colorful, dance in the
persistent ocean breeze.
Beautiful sunsets over the Pacific Ocean are a regular delight.
