The Odiyan foundry was set up in the year 2000 for the purpose of casting statues, bells and sacred art for Cintamani Temple. Our all-volunteer community accomplished a phenomenal amount of work to bring the statues and background art for Cintamani into being. Between 2004 and 2005 Odiyan was believed to have the highest rate of bronze production in the country, and possibly in the world!

Both the lost wax and sandcasting projects for Cintamani Temple were completed in 2005.

The foundry is occasionally used for special projects, but is not currently a major work site.
